6.0-magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia's Central Sulawesi

JAKARTA, July 24 (Xinhua) -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia's Central Sulawesi province on Thursday evening without triggering large waves, the country's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported.

The tremor occurred at 08:06 p.m. Jakarta time, with the epicenter located 70 km southwest of Poso Regency at a depth of 10 km.

No tsunami warning was issued, the agency said.
