JAKARTA, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Tuesday reiterated the country's commitment to a free and active foreign policy.
The president made the remarks while receiving the credentials of nine newly appointed ambassadors in Jakarta, according to Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Arif Havas Oegroseno.
During the ceremony, Prabowo emphasized the crucial role of international collaboration in tackling increasingly complex global challenges.
The diplomatic event followed a similar ceremony on Monday, during which Prabowo received letters of credence from the ambassadors of eight other countries.
