1 killed after small cargo plane crashes in Indonesia

JAKARTA, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- A small cargo plane crashed in the Indonesian province of North Kalimantan on Thursday afternoon, killing the pilot, according to the Ministry of Transportation.

The plane, carrying fuel to remote areas, crashed during its flight from Long Bawan to Tarakan.

The plane took off from Long Bawan at 12:10 p.m. and was due to arrive in Tarakan at 1:15 p.m.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
