JAKARTA, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia recorded year-on-year economic growth of 5.11 percent in 2025, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) said on Thursday.

BPS head Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti said at a press conference that household consumption improved, manufacturing business conditions and outlook indices remained in the expansion zone, and investment realization continued to increase.

"Economic policies such as inflation control and the benchmark interest rate also appear to have supported the stability of Indonesia's economic development," Amalia said.

Overall, growth momentum in 2025 was underpinned by resilient domestic demand, solid investment expansion, and improving export performance, with household consumption, gross fixed capital formation, and manufacturing remaining the main drivers, according to BPS.
