Indonesian president arrives in Beijing for China's V-Day commemorations

BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto decided to attend the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War in China upon invitation, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.

Prabowo has arrived in Beijing in the early morning of Wednesday and China welcomes it, the spokesperson said.
