TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran football team left for Thailand on Friday to participate in the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup Indonesia 2024 qualification.

Eight teams have their sights set on overcoming one final qualifying hurdle next week to secure a place at the event.

Iran will lock horn with Thailand on September 20 at the Buriram City Stadium in Group A.

The Iranian girls will also meet South Korea and India on September 22 and 24, respectively.

Australia, Bangladesh, Vietnam and the Philippines are in Group B.
