Asia Album: Indonesian temple offers iftar dinners during Ramadan

JAKARTA, March 29 (Xinhua) -- People in a Buddhist temple in the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta are preparing to offer hearty iftar (fast-breaking meal) for worshippers during Ramadan.

In the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Muslims practice fasting and refrain from eating and drinking from sunrise until sunset, and then they come together and feast at night.
