JAKARTA, March 17 (Xinhua) -- An Indonesian police counterterrorism squad has arrested five suspected terrorists in Central Sulawesi Province, a police spokesman said on Friday.

The five suspects are members of the Jemaah Islamiyah terror group, National Police spokesperson Ahmad Ramadhan said.

An investigation is still underway, and the police confiscated some evidence, including 13 books, three foundation documents, three telescopes, nine crossbows, one air rifle, and several knives during their operation.

Jemaah Islamiyah, linked to the Islamic State, was behind the 2002 Bali bombings that killed more than 200 people.
