JAKARTA -- As of Sunday, 125 people were confirmed dead from a stampede after a football match in Indonesia's East Java province, with more than 320 others injured, Indonesia's National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, said Sunday.

Previously, the police said the death toll was 129 and more than 180 others were injured, while the provincial authorities claimed 172 dead in the tragedy. However, Listyo said some victims' names were listed more than once. (Indonesia-Stampede-Death Toll)

JAKARTA -- One died, 25 others were injured, and about 950 houses were damaged in a 6.0-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia's North Sumatra on Saturday, local government officials confirmed on Sunday.

TOKYO -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.9 struck Japan's southwestern prefecture of Miyazaki and other areas early Sunday, the weather agency here said, with no tsunami warnings issued.

ISLAMABAD -- Four terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with police in Naseerabad district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of the police said on Sunday.
