JAKARTA, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia will expand its green industrial park in North Kalimantan province from the initial 13,000 hectares to 30,000 hectares, President Joko Widodo said on Wednesday.
"As (industry's) demand for green products is increasing, we will expand it. I think it will be the largest green industrial park in the world," Widodo said at the annual meeting of Bank Indonesia in Jakarta.
The construction of this green industrial park will begin next month.
Widodo said an environmentally-friendly and sustainable economy has great prospects in the future.
