CARACAS -- The Venezuelan government on Wednesday declared the European Union Ambassador to Caracas Isabel Brilhante Pedrosa persona non grata and gave her 72 hours to leave the country.

BENI, DRC -- At least 24 people were killed in three different attacks that took place overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday in the provinces of North Kivu and Ituri, both in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), according to the local authorities source.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. economy remains far from the Federal Reserve's goals for employment and inflation, and monetary policy will continue to provide support to the economy, a senior Fed official said Wednesday.
