Tornado kills five in Indonesia

Five people died when a tornado ripped through two provinces in Indonesia, an official said Saturday.

The storm hit the South Sulawesi and North Sumatra provinces Friday. Nearly a 100 houses, schools and government buildings were destroyed, said Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, head of the public relation at the National Agency for Disaster Management, Xinhua reported.
